Calm beats clever.
We’d rather have a quiet, regulated dog than an exhausted, over-stimulated one. Quiet hours, structured play, real naps.
We started Blue Sky because we wanted somewhere we’d be happy to leave our own dogs — a place where pets feel known, not warehoused. Overnight boarding and daycare for dogs, boarding for their cat siblings, and the same standard every single day.
We treat every pup like our own — and we know your peace of mind is part of the package. Three things shape how that shows up.

Your dog sees the same faces every visit. They learn each dog’s quirks — the loud eater, the toy-thief, the slow waker.
You’ll hear from one of us about how your dog’s day actually went. Photos when they happen, words when they help.
Blue Sky’s owner, Sylvia Murphy, was born and raised in Broken Bow, and she’s never had much reason to leave McCurtain County. As a local real estate agent, she has spent years helping families put down roots across McCurtain County — so when it comes to this corner of southeast Oklahoma, there’s not much she doesn’t know.
Animals have always been her soft spot. The early feedings, the long walks, the slow waker who needs an extra minute in the morning — to Sylvia that’s never the chore part of the day, it’s the best part. Leave your pup with her and you’re leaving them with someone who cares for them exactly the way she’d want her own looked after.
We’re Broken Bow’s own — families come to us from across McCurtain County: Broken Bow, Hochatown, Idabel, Wright City, Valliant, and Eagletown. Most come back season after season; many were introduced to us by another pup’s person.
